Ryan Donovan Rogers, was born on August 1, 1986. Although he stems from a southern background, he grew up in the
southern part of the city of Milwaukee, WI and lived in Oak Creek, WI, for quite some time. He is husband to Yessenia
and father to Ryan Jr. and Donovan.
Son of a pastor, he grew up in the church knowing Jesus. The message Ryan wants to share through DATALIT is to give people hope to those who have felt alone, hopeless, broken, rejected, and also to let them know there is a better way out. When asked what was his hope for DATALIT, Ryan’s response was, “to create what we were destined to create, and help
those we were destined to help. We want to be in a position for miraculous things to happen to people and places
through music and to introduce people to the presence of God and to see them want to be saved.” For Ryan, DATALIT means they’re standing for something meaningful as a band. Ryan also shared how Josh (bandmate), has a definite influence on heavier music and said, ‘if it wasn’t for him (Josh) we’d be playing smooth jazz somewhere!’ But for now, the goal is to regularly be a part of large performances, big and small.
